When you look around, there are many cases or problems to solve. Engineering is a way of turning science into useful solutions. As a mechanical design engineer, I enjoy solving problems and using technology to make a difference.

 

When I was a kid I always knew I wanted to be an engineer. I had a huge interest in finding out how things worked and how I could use the same technology in different ways. Soon I was in university doing my favourite course - ENGINEERING! On the second year of my study I realised that I was particularly interested in aerodynamic design and test/analysis. Therefore, during my final year I started to specialise more in this field and continued throughout my MSc.

 

The formal qualifications I gained were BEng degree in aerospace engineering design, combined with MSc in mechanical engineering. Also, I have experience in variety of CAD/CAE software and manufacturing methods, as well as in project management. This has enabled me to take on the responsibilities for the full product life cycle from concept to production in my current role. In short - this means specialising in bringing an idea to life from a blank page of paper to the production.
